187th Annual General Conference – Saturday Morning General Session

As seems to happen often, I’m at work today. Luckily, I’m able to arrange my schedule so that I can watch the session during an extended lunch. I’ll be home by 3:30 or so, so can watch the next session at home with my family.

For the last couple of weeks we have been down in Florida relaxing physically. It is going to be kind of nice this weekend to “relax” spiritually. I don’t mean to avoid or get away from spiritual things, but to be refreshed and recharged.

182nd Semiannual General Conference – Sunday Morning General Session

We had a great morning! We got up after 7 am, had a nice big breakfast (regular bacon, peameal bacon, eggs, pancakes, bagels and toast) and then went for a long walk. When we got back, the kids watched a cartoon movie, and I watched the Music and the Spoken Word broadcast.

We’re all set now to watch the Sunday Morning General Session. The whole family will watch the session together.

181st Semiannual General Conference – Saturday Morning General Session

I helped a woman in the ward move this morning, and I got back just before noon… just in time to setup the laptop and get everything working on the TV.

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir opened the conference by singing The Morning Breaks

President Henry B Eyring conducted.

The choir sang With Songs of Praise
